Position Overview: BRAC USA seeks an intern with exceptional writing, organizational, and communication skills to support its Corporate and Foundation Partnerships (CFP) team for Summer 2023. The CFP team supports BRAC’s international portfolios and country teams by identifying and cultivating new donors, developing winning proposals aligned with BRAC’s missions, and stewarding long-term partnerships with corporate and foundation funders. The CFP Intern will support various aspects of the team’s efforts to fundraise and systematize internal databases.

Responsibilities Include but are not limited to: 
• Support systematizing BRAC USA’s Knowledge Management database, which is an
internal system with a wide variety of resources on BRAC’s country offices and
programmatic areas (health, education, climate change, etc.)
• Conduct prospect research on donors across a number of portfolios and assess
alignment for outreach to donors
• Prepare meeting briefs, join calls with colleagues across other BRAC entities, capture
notes and next steps
• Develop communications materials (such as short briefs or presentations) that highlight
flagship programs
• Support with copyediting and proofreading concept notes and proposals if the
opportunity arises
• Attend webinars and other events and share key takeaways with team members

Preferred Skills:

• Current undergraduate, graduate student or recent graduate in international relations, global development, social sciences, or other relevant fields preferred
• A passion for international development and BRAC’s mission
• Ability to manage tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced, team-oriented (virtual) environment
• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with a keen eye for detail
• Proactive team player with strong desire to learn and ability to be flexible
• Excellent research skills and ability to frame writing and research for a variety of audiences
• A sincere and demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion to promote and strengthen a culture of belonging at BRAC USA
