About the Organization: The Center for Employment Opportunities (CEO) is dedicated to providing immediate, effective, and comprehensive employment services to people with recent criminal convictions. CEO’s programs help participants regain the skills and confidence needed for successful transitions to stable, productive lives. CEO serves more than 5,000 participants a year, giving them the opportunity to support themselves and their families, remain crime-free, and contribute positively to their communities.

Headquartered in New York City, CEO currently operates in 21 cities across eight states. In 2016, CEO embarked on a five-year strategic plan to serve 11,000 participants annually. CEO has gained support to expand its programs through government, nonprofit, and private organizations, including the Federal Social Innovation Fund, Edna McConnell Clark Foundation, Robin Hood Foundation, James Irvine Foundation, Tipping Point Community, and Google.org, among many others.

Position Overview: Working with the Talent Acquisition Manager, this role is responsible for talent acquisition administrative functions, referral partner building, and outbound sourcing. This position will also perform recruiting tasks, including but not limited to: updating job descriptions, coordinating job postings, researching/sourcing candidates, reviewing/sorting resumes, managing the reference check process for multiple recruiters, and scheduling/coordinating interviews.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Sourcing & Partner Building:
·        Build and develop effective referral sources with a focus on organizations that service justice impacted individuals, and develop qualified lead strategies from a variety of sources (i.e. referrals, advertising, career fairs, social media, etc.)
·        Regularly send out job listings and updates to community partners informing them of CEO openings
·        Actively participate in community clubs and organizations to promote and brand CEO
·        Develop relationships with recruiters and hiring managers to share leads and best practices
·        Provide specific selection process accountability to include but not limited to preliminary screening of candidates, administering selection tools and preparation for interviews and working in conjunction with the assigned recruiter to guide candidates through the selection process
·        Review resumes and scheduling of interviews
·        Effectively communicate with candidates, hiring managers, and recruiters

Recruitment, Accountability, Tracking, and Analysis:
·        Review and screen quality applications for recruiters
·        Schedule interviews between the hiring team and the recruiter
·        Conduct follow-up calls to candidates who are not responding to email requests
·        Develop proficiency and use of Greenhouse to maintain candidate databases and accurate records of prospects to ensure efficiency of the selection process
·        Assist in the coordination of team meetings and the preparation of activity/results reports
