Primary care, dental care, behavioral health care, clinical nutrition, wellness programs and chronic disease management are the foundation of Open Door's clinical programs. Position Overview: Intern will be assisting with analytics for clinical providers in departments, including but not limited to: Medical, Women's Health and Dental, research utilization, care team efficiency and clinical quality measurements. Some specific areas of focus will include reviewing electronic medical record documentation and pulling data to determine clinician and team performance while evaluating process improvements for documentation.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
•Internship is technical in nature and will cover a broad range of business and clinical related projects
•Create and deliver a presentation at the completion of internship
•Maintain a high regard for patient privacy in accordance with corporate and HIPPA privacy policies and procedures.
•Regular and reliable attendance is expected and required.
•Assist as needed with Management Team

Preferred Skills:
• Desired majors include Mathematics, Statistics, or Economics
• Strong communication skills and the ability to interface with all staff in organization
• Experience using a desktop computer in a professional environment.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong organizational and prioritizing skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• A proactive approach to work, displaying creativity and flexibility in completing assigned tasks.
• Commitment to continuous self-improvement and team support.
• Must be self-motivated, able to work independently, and with intra- and inter-departmental teams when needed.

The Ideal Candidate is: A student studying any of the following areas: Mathematics, Statistics, Public Health, Health Sciences, Informatics, Business Administration, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Analytics and should have experience with: Informatics Analyst: Microsoft Products (Excel, Word), Analytics, Tableau, SQL, Postgresql PowerBI
